Data Sources & Attribution

Movie and TV show metadata, images, and ratings are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB).

Streaming availability data is sourced from JustWatch via the TMDB API.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. All movie posters, backdrops, and profile images are the property of their respective copyright holders and are served via the TMDB image CDN.

Community Ratings

Muviee maintains its own community rating system separate from TMDB. Ratings are calculated as the average of all user ratings on our platform. Both the TMDB score and the Muviee community score are displayed for transparency.

Muviee is built with open-source technologies including React Native, Next.js, Supabase, and Tailwind CSS. We are grateful to the open-source community.
